Terms and Conditions

You can order with full confidence from Colonial Tin Works, Inc. We have been serving customers for more than 30 years, and we want to continue our tradition of quality and customer service. We do not sell or rent our mailing list to anyone.

PHONE ORDERS
For fast, courteous service, call us toll-free at 1-800-433-5054. We are available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. eastern standard time, Monday-Friday. Your customer service representative will be glad to help you with any questions about your order. We ask that you have your order as complete as possible when you call, along with your customer I.D. number, and your credit card information if using a Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express. Your account will be charged when your order is shipped, not before.

MAIL ORDERS
Complete your order and mail it to us with your name, your store name, customer I.D. number, credit card information if using a Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express and requested shipping date.

FAX AND WEB ORDERS
Fax your completed order to 1-866-Sell-Tin (1-866-735-5846.) Use our convenient order form found in our catalog, or on our website. To avoid a duplicated order, please fax or phone your order, not both. While we make every attempt to catch duplicated orders, we cannot be held responsible for returns associated with orders submitted twice. If you have submitted an order online or by fax, and are unsure if we have received it, please call before sending it again.

PROBLEMS WITH ORDERS
We have a toll free “Quick-Fix” line so we may better take care of problems you may have with an order. This toll-free number is 1-888-695-3668. We ask that all claims be made within 10 days of receipt of your order.

BREAKAGE
We pack your orders with great care. If you should receive an order in broken or damaged condition, please call our “Quick-Fix” line immediately for instructions. In the event that a claim is made for damage to merchandise, the original packing material must be made available to UPS for inspection. Please call our “Quick-Fix” Line: 1-888-695-3668.

MINIMUM ORDER
We do not have minimum order requirements.  However, we recommend that you order at least $75 to keep your freight charges more cost-effective.  

RETURNS & SHORTAGES
No returned merchandise will be accepted without authorization. Shortages and damage claims must be reported within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. Call us on our toll-free “Quick-Fix” line at 1-888-695-3668. Our return policy is subject to change without notice.

PRICES
All of our prices are wholesale, in U.S. dollars. Prices are effective January 1, 2010. These prices supersede all previous prices and are subject to change without notice.

SALES TAX
Colonial Tin Works, Inc. is required to have your sales tax number, retail sales certificate, or state sales tax certificate on file.

PAYMENT
Unless prior credit arrangements have been made, we will promptly ship your order handling payment in one of the following manners:

C.O.D. (Cashier’s Check or Money Order)
(Personal and Company Checks are not accepted for payment on C.O.D. orders unless you have received prior approval from Colonial Tin Works, Inc.

Net/30 (Approved credit)
(Should this be of interest to you, please ask your customer service representative for a credit application.

Credit Card
(Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express)

A late charge of 1½% per month (18% APR) will be added to all past due invoices. We advise that reorders under $75.00 be charged to a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.

International orders are handled on a credit card basis only. Payment may be made using Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.

SHIPPING & HANDLING
All orders are shipped U.P.S. from Greensboro, N.C. Cost of shipping will be added to your invoice.

RESTOCKING CHARGE
A 15% restocking charge in addition to freight charges will be added on all refused orders.

QUALITY
We strive to offer our customers the highest quality items at exceptional values. In our painted items, we make every attempt to ensure our color is consistent, but slight variations may occur. Our tin is finished to a pewter color. Because our items are hand made, occasionally there are slight variations in the finished size and color.

  • Our items contain recycled materials.
  • We make every effort to ensure accuracy in our catalogs. However, mistakes can happen. In the event that there is a mistake, please be understanding. Prices and specs are subject to change without notice.
